Find Help

If you or your family are struggling to put food on the table, you are not alone. Yuma Community Food Bank is here to help, with dignity, without judgment, and at no cost to you.

We provide food and other forms of assistance to families and individuals throughout Yuma County and the surrounding region. Whether you are facing a sudden job loss, a family emergency, or ongoing hardship, there is a program and a location that can help you get what you need.

Food Assistance Programs

We operate two federally funded food assistance programs, available at distribution sites across the region. Both programs are free and provided based on need.

Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP)

TEFAP is a short-term food assistance program for families and individuals who are running short on food due to a difficult circumstance, such as:

  • Loss of a job
  • Moving between jobs
  • A family or individual emergency situation

What to bring: A valid photo ID.

Available at most distribution sites listed below.

Senior Food Program (CSFP)

The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) provides monthly food packages to income-eligible seniors age 60 and older. Packages include shelf-stable foods such as canned goods, grains, and protein.

  • Must be age 60 or older
  • Must meet income eligibility guidelines

What to bring: A valid photo ID and proof of age.

Available at select distribution sites listed below.

Not sure if you qualify? Please reach out. We would rather answer your question than have you go without food. Call us at (928) 343-1243 or email us at info@yumafoodbank.org and we'll help you find the right program.

Distribution Sites and Hours

Food is distributed at our main warehouse and at community sites throughout the region. Find the location closest to you below. All sites are free and open to the public. No appointment is needed at most locations.
